I thought Tesco margins were about 6%.

Whatever Tesco's margin is, it's way too high as long as Tesco can
report billions in profits despite the severest recession since the
1930s.

There are a few people around who think that way.

Correction: There are millions of people around who think that way.

It is possible there are indeed millions (in the world as a whole) who
are complete ignoramuses when it comes to economic matters.

But once again, you are showing your ignorance in that statement - it
seems it may be a general mathematical thing rather than just limited
to corporate profits, since you are once again equating large numbers
with "a lot".

Millions *is* very few, as a proportion of the world population.

BTW, do you have any evidence that "millions" are that ignorant?

I can guarantee you that it is only people who really have no idea
about economic matters who believe that the absolute amount is more
important than the percentage.
