Re: Justifiable killing?

[The reports suggest he was stabbed outside the house.
It suggests nothing of the sort.
It says "the defendant had chased him down the street before returning
to
the property to find himself confronted by Juett."
Where exactly does it say he was stabbed outside the house?]

I said 'reports', he was found, dying, outside the house.

[Clearly, he intended to 'defend' himself by stabbing someone
(unreasonable), which makes it an offensive weapon.
Clearly?
Clear to who?
Clear to a man who is making a lot of assumptions.]

Heh, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

[Here's a few more assumptions for you. Each of which are equally as
likely
as yours.]

Let us see ...

[He could have grabbed the knife to intimidate, and things got out of
hand.
He could have grabbed the knife during a scuffle when he already
feared his
life was under threat.
He could have been in the process of making a sandwich when he
encountered
the burglars and in his panic, forgot to set down the knife.]

All possible, but not really elevant to the Murder.

[You simply cannot say "He was carrying the knife because he intended
to sta
someone", as there are no reported facts to support that assumption.]

Of course I can, If we accept it is an informed presumption. I have
not claimed any truth.

[So, do you still deny that this inceident would never have happened
if the
burglar had chosen not to break into the home in the first place?]

I have not denied that.

[Why is no blame placed at the burglars feet for setting in motion the
chain
of illegal and pre-miditated acts that led up to this death? ]

Because he was not the killing actor and burglary is not murder.
