We hope you are all enjoying the 'XL show' still.
Yes, it's perhaps the funniest show on the 'net at the moment.
The news tonight.
Was it Microsoft or any other big company that got us 'suspended'......
Ermmm. NO.
Actually someone threatened the webhost, the webhost has suspended us -
NOT deleted us.
Nobody needed to "threaten" burst.net (for it was they) - all they needed to do was to remind them of paragraph 5C of their Terms of Service, to be found near the end of their standard contract, This may freely be downloaded from https://www.burst.net/policy.shtml
In regards to the .net - it has not taken 10 hours at all.The site was live within 30 minutes of us putting the service back
online AND this will be the same with the 6 new hosting sites we have
just acquired also.
Really? Your audience saw the changes made to xltrading.net - a site which you previously claimed had nothing to do with you - and those changes certainly took rather longer than a mere 30 minutes.
Perhaps you can explain this: if your "service" is completely legal, why do you need to have half a dozen sites like that?

Nor is it a problem to those playing with you; in fact, it's half the fun!
In a week or three, you'll probably find a "black hat" web host who really do not care what you do and where you may feel safe, but merely having your web site up for more than a few hours or a few days should not be taken as proof that you are "safe". How will you tell which of your customers is not, in fact, someone working for a Trading Standards department, ELSPA, FACT or FAST who is making a test purchase for evidentiary purposes?

Fiddlesticks! Nobody has "attacked" your web host and, if/when you are prosecuted, it won't be by Microsoft or Sony but by an ordinary barrister in an ordinary court.

I have - it's five years old and out of date. Now try reading this:
http://www.elspa.com/?l=faq&cat=21 - which is current.
http://www.elspa.com/assets/files/r/reginavgaryboulter_453.pdf is much more recent and, whilst the Sony chipping case is from 2004 (http://www.elspa.com/assets/files/s/sonyvball_308.pdf) it does not appear to have been superseded.

Can you explain how you will be able to prevent your postings being given in evidence against you?

Why not change your business to publishing novelty or "joke" foreign language phrase-books?

You'd then be able to plead incompetence.
Plead insanity more like.
