I thought I had a story for the super soaraway Sun so I sent their

The Sun Newsdesk threw away my materials. They refused to communicate
with me in any way.
Do I have a Small Claim for £ 100 against the Sun for the materials I
sent them, given that these were unsolicited, but I requested their
return and it would have been cheap for them to send them back?
I am really disappointed with the Sun's behaviour and am tempted to
sue them in any case.
A catalogue company salesperson once put a catalogue through my
letterbox with instructions to return it if I did not want to buy
anything. I chucked it in the bin together with all the other junk
mail. An irate person called a few days later telling me that I would
have to pay for the catalogue. I told him to piss off before I called
the police.
I expect the Sun will take a similar view to myself wrt unsolicited
material.
I had a Betaware one put in my letterbox despite a large notice saying not to put in junk mail. I filled their order form in with a pretend name and ordered £300 worth of their rubbish. Loadsa free fun when the guy tried to deliver it.
