Which is at the expense of the planet and the Third World and is not

Some parts of the Third World are doing very well. Asia is improving
(and suffering the teething problems associated with that). Africa is
declining.
Africa is very much the architect of its own misfortune. They have
got exactly what they demanded - in many cases at gunpoint. Having
made their bed, they must now lie in it.
The Middle East is a worry, and IMO the West should get out and leave
them to sort it out between themselves. They will have no interest in
us if we stop interfering. As it is, I can see it all ending in
tears.
As for the planet - it is carrying on pretty much as it always has,
and Man has done little to affect it, despite what you think. Yes, we
are using up a few finite resources at a rate that is orders of
magnitude faster than they can be renewed. But the Earth does not
need oil or coal or gas, and if we use it all up it will not be
detrimental to the planet. And Man will adapt to do without long
before they are completely depleted.
