I never moan at the till except when I have been short changed and that
seems to happen quite often now. I always go to customer services for
pricing
errors. It happens at least 50% of the times we shop at Tescos but never
at
Sainsburys and seldom at Asda. We often have a Tesco £4 off voucher if we
spend £40. Then we count up our purchases on the way round to make sure
that
we are just over. One time we were told that we were about 70p under so I
went to get a tube of toothpaste to make up the difference.When I later
checked the bill
I found that our bananas were not on the bill. How did she fail to weigh
them?

Easy - she passed them over the scanner and with no bar code they registered
nothing.


Lidl make lots of scanning mistakes, getting it wrong if you have several
of the same item
but just correct the discrepancy after a long wait for the supervisor.
