Lol. If people want to buy quack medicines and placebos, then fine,
but as far as I'm concerned if anyone complains then the refund should
be automatic.

Why? If a paracetamol fails to clear a headache is the drug faulty?

But paracetamol is an analgesic with proven efficacy and widespread
use in the medical profession. But it's absurd to allow anyone to
profit from providing what is not only a quack remedy, but a quack
remedy *that doesn't even work*, and as far as I'm concerned when I go
into Boots or Lloyds or whatever other pharmacy, I expect to find
genuine pharmaceuticals not quack remedies.

But some people claim that there is evidence that these homeopathic
medicines work. I do not belive it but there is still some evidence in
their favour. I believe that the NHS does, or certainly did, fund some of
these remedies so there must be at least some evidence in their favour.
In any event, I agree that a pharmacy should only sell recognised
pharmaceuticals and not things of questionable effectiveness.
