So should he be banned from watching the news or reading newspapers?

There's just no reasoning with you.

His brother and sister (almost 18 and 15) should not be allowed to
discuss with me information they find on the internet?

I hadn't mentioned your older children.

Luckily, the judicial system appears to provide a remedy for you
without any change in your behaviour. However, you would certainly do
better to understand the dynamic that has almost certainly developed
between you and the SS, and which I suspect has caused the SS
personnel to view you as both irresponsible and untrustworthy.

Actually they have never said that about me.  Unco-operative, cold,
agressive and opinionated, yes, but never irresponsible or
untrustworthy- no.

You are easily one of the most belligerent and least insightful
posters we've had here. The bottom line is, I agree with you on every
substantive issue here, that the authorities have behaved irrationally
and arbitrarily. You probably put the behaviour of those authorities
down to a personal vendetta against you or some similar concept,
whereas I have a more nuanced understanding of how there's been an
escalation. In any event, you are entitled at law to be belligerent
and insightless, and the authorities ought to take account of the
dynamics involved in dealing with such personalities, and so I wish
you the best of luck in court.

Well, there you go. If I have a 'chip on my shoulder'- two guesses
who put it there? As I have told the SS many times, 'Look at the
history- you need to prove your professionalism and competence to me.
I owe you nothing and you owe me everything.' I don't think that is
'belligerent'- simply a statement based on fact.

I think you will find my insight very high. (Indeed, I have reports
saying I have a high level of insight)

Where am I being unreasonable? It was a straightforward response to
you. All he is doing is copying phrases from the news and the papers-
so how am I being irresponsible? If your view is that I should
dissuade him from those comments/pov- well, I can't really, because
they are true.

For the third time, when I have seen my solicitor later this week, I
will post the result for future reference for anyone else placed in a
similar situation.

In the meantime, I really feel it unnecessary for you to make
assumptions and conclusions about me or my life in the real world.
