Anything has the capacity to be dangerous, sure, but mains is much more
likely to fry you by several thousands of orders of magnitude.

It's very unlikely that a person would ever be "fried" by the
household mains; the usual method of death is straightforward cardiac
arrest.


Exactly, hence the reference - you are NEVER going to get fried by an
inverter.

........or the mains.

The 2kV transformer in a microwave oven on the other hand...............
