OK that's reasonable, can't we agree on they have the potential
to be as dangerous as mains?
Pun intended, why not?
Anything has the capacity to be dangerous, sure, but mains is much more
likely to fry you by several thousands of orders of magnitude.
It's very unlikely that a person would ever be "fried" by the
household mains; the usual method of death is straightforward cardiac
arrest.
