So what are they supposed to do against unlawful hunts which are
not stopped by police? What are they supposed to do against
sentient animal torturers who are not stopped by governments and
who are aided by police? Like you I suppose, just sit back and do
nothing, except perhaps vote futilely.

They are supposed to do what other pressure groups do - ie
peacefully and lawfully protest, and continue to lobby for change.
What they are *not* supposed to do is indulge in activities which
are unlawful and far worse than the activities committed by the
people they are against. So far, the activities of Animal Rights
groups have been not only disgraceful and despicable - but utterly
and totally futile and counter-productive for their
cause.

On the contrary in the UK alone they have managed to close down a
guinea pig farm and placed another large company, HLS, in financial
difficulties, among other things..

Indeed. Both of them organisations that were going about their lawful
business, no matter how much you dislike what that business is.

Prior to 2005 hunting with dogs for sport was perfectly legal as well
as being despicable. Now it is illegal and despicable but it still
takes place.

I regard animals being torn apart while still alive by dogs for sport,
while humans look on with pleasure, to be much more despicable than
anything the animal rights activists do to try to stop it.

Wild animals are torn apart every single day throughout the world by other
wild animals. You may try and say that that is different because they are
being torn apart for food. I'm sure that makes the animal being torn apart
feel much better about it. Foxes tear apart chickens - and often not for
food. Isn't that disgusting? Don't the foxes deserve the death sentence
for
doing that?

But, to go back to your final paragraph - you believe that digging up a
corpse is less despicable than killing a fox? You believe that ruining
someone's livelihood and life is less despicable than killing a fox? You
consider that sending explosive devices through the post to maim people is
less despicable than killing a fox? You have a very warped sense of
ethics

carried out by those trying to stop fox huntng?
