Re: Exceptions to the disabilities discrimination act

Can anyone help me regarding the disabilities discrimination act ?

I am a dyslexia correction facilitator, my query is about job
suitability and the expectations of employees.

I have two clients, the first is a groundsman who is facing dismissal
because he can't manage the recent demand for detailed paperwork due
to his dyslexia. The second is a police officer who is facing similar
disciplinary action for the same reasons ; dyslexia.

How dose the law draw a line and say where an employees ?reasonable
suitability? for their job begins and ends ?
Are there guidelines ?

This is a good place to start.
