Yes, £91 per hour is too low for a senior professional who can make three or four times that elsewhere. Don't forget that barristers' fees are gross (they are self employed) and they have to pay Chambers rent, and many other costs out of that. The garage that services my car charges £120 per hour for labour, and a QC is rather more highly trained than a car mechanic.
