The plastic containers of baked beans are an even better
idea - pop one in the microwave, spoon out onto your toast or
whatever, and bin the container.

The things I learn in this group are quite amazing... I had no idea
that baked beans can now be bought in plastic containers.

I have a small number of (Lakeland Plastic?) lids that clip onto the
top of open part-emptied cans, so they can be put in the fridge.

Do these come in a size to fit catering size cans though?

You can decant the contents into a bowl. I don't think food is
intended to be kept in opened cans anyway.
