The things I learn in this group are quite amazing... I had no idea that baked beans can now be bought in plastic containers.

I have a small number of (Lakeland Plastic?) lids that clip onto the top of open part-emptied cans, so they can be put in the fridge. Or in the larder, if they don't require keeping cold - eg macadamia nuts.

That these lids are available to buy presumably indicates that a *few* people don't use the entire tin contents, immediately after opening.
