Yes, I have. The second hit for the search phrase I gave earlier tells
you which section of exactly which act. It's really not difficult.

Errr, I just re-read what EXACT search term you said to use and it was
this actually
'mot "road traffic act"'

So I yet again gave you the benefit of my doubt, searched it clicked
on the second result......

Which happens to be about how to apply to the DVLA for MOT exemption
status for a vehicle, it is a PDF file of the DVLA form you have to
fill in if for example you have a farm tractor which covers no more
then 6 miles on highway a week.

You said it would tell me which section of exactly which act
applies. It refers to section 47 of RTA C.52 (which requires
vehicles to have a valid MOT for use on the road).

Now the penny drops you are either a total idiot or you have not only
misunderstood the question but also failed to read my replies within
this thread. Because I have already replied that although that
section of the RTA c52 1988 act is concerning the requirement for all
vehicles to have MOT certs it does not, I REPEAT IT DOES NOT, say
anything about being allowed to pre book an MOT appointment if your
MOT cert has expired. Which is what I want to know!
