I am working through a divorce settlement with the ex-wife and need
some advice/help and cannot afford solicitors bills.
The ex cannot get a mortgage in her sole name and so I will be tied
into the joint mortgage we have indefinately. This is not the 'clean
break' I sought but the court order states she must 'indemnify' me
against any financial claims. However, I will still be liable in the
lender's eyes.
What does this indemnity mean? Will I be able to get another mortgage
or car loan or simlar? Please help!
.
