But what if you can't get the finger? Well, you can chop one off, of
course - another risk with biometrics.

Show me proof that one of the three methods has been used. Often ideas
and
putting them in to practice are quite far apart.
If a person wears gloves or wipes the glass then you're stuffed. Most
people knowing what you suggest do this. The best trick I saw was taking
cigarette ends from criminals and testing for DNA or cups they had been
drinking from. Then it's easy to fit them up!

I always thought that an alpha-numeric password
was quite secure.
Then I watched an ITV prog , yesterday, half
concerning those
HMRC discs. Someone made a CD and secured it
with a password.
Gave to someone with an off the shelf cracker,
16 minutes later, cracked the password
"liv123" , which seems quite a normal
sort of password, ie "liv" is not a
dictionary word and if you choose "Wdg4Be6nRe9"
as a password then
you have to write it down somewhere.
I don't suppose mixing upper and lower case
in makes much difference - a few hours rather
than 16 min presumably.

ps
What they aren't telling you about DNA profiles
and what Special Branch don't want you to know.
