Why are you so afraid of the truth? What you're saying is, the head
should suppress it. Got an ology in propaganda, have you?
No, I'm saying that in some circumstances the truth need only be told
to those who *need* to know about it. In that example, to the
educational psychologists and the senior staff in the education
authority.

But my understanding is that his views as reported here, i.e. that black people are genetically less intelligent does not hold up against the scientific evidence and so it's not a Truth at all, merely his interpretation of some data.

AIUI IQ testing, academic performance, scientific achievement, national economic wealth give strong racial correlations. The underlying reasons for these correlations are still under debate. If you have scientific evidence that explains that these correlations are not affected by genetic difference in intelligence I would love to see it. However I doubt that you do.

So, basically he was blathering. Whether he should be given a platform at the Science Museum is anyone's guess - Speaker's Corner seems somehow more appropriate.
