Can I take a company registered in Italy to court ?

I booked a hotel room from a well known internet room provider in July. I received a confirmation email with all of the booking details. I did not pay them anything as I had to pay the hotel on departure. Two days after receiving the confirmation email I then booked my flights. Four weeks later I received an email from the hotel company stating that "due to a technical error" the room I had booked would now cost 1600 euros instead of 575 euros I had booked for. It stated I could cancel the room if required or just pay the extra.
I emailed the company and explained that I only wanted to go on this holiday to go to this hotel as it came highly recommended (friends stayed there in July) and I would expect them to either honor the confirmed booking or refund my flight cost.
I received an email saying they would happily refund me £330 for flights. I accepted the offer and received a refund form that was faxed to them on September 10th. They say the money was put in my account on September 14th but I still havent seen it. They say it is now my problem and I should contact my bank.
The company are in Italy but do have an office in London but the London office ignore emails and there is no phone number for them. Is it worth me seeing a solicitor or just write off £330.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
