At the age these so-called kids were at, they knew right from wrong (the
same as the Thompson and Venables case). They knew that thowing rocks,
stones and bits of wood would cause a great deal of harm and even death.
I doubt that they knew that it would lead to death. Such a
consequence was extremely unlikely.
There are degrees of knowing "right from wrong".
Do you believe that you are no more responsible today than you were at
the age of 10 years old? Do you claim that there was nothing stupid
that you did at 10 years of age that you would not dream of doing
today?
