I spoke to the club and I wasn't parked in the right place so I was parked
illegally. bu99er!
I've now spoken to the council who were very good about it. They checked the
photo taken after the second ticket and there was no sign of the first one.
Looks like someone had "kindly" removed it.
They have now said that I have to put all this in writing and they will
reduce the fine to the original £30 if I pay it promptly. Thats much better
than the £120 they were asking for originally.
Given you now know you were in the wrong place, that seems a fair
outcome.
It is good to see them showing some sense in the matter.
