I am married to a British citizen and my limited right to leave is
expiring next month. Do I really have to pay an additional £750 to
stay here with my husband? We already paid an absurd amount of money
when we got married. Isn't there anything we can do or he can do as a
British born and bred citizen? If this is the case, we are going to
have to separate. Also, is it true that I have to take an English
test????? I am from a commonwealth country (which means nothing these
days). I have had a NI number since the day I've arrived, paid my
taxes, pay my mortgage.....sorry now I'm just venting.
ADVICE PLEASE!!!!!
I don't know why you'd want to stay as you have just discovered the UK
is a police state shithole. I'm told by some friends who have made the
jump that Canada is much nicer.
But if you need advice try these

If your local one doesn't have a specialist they can at least point
you in the right direction
