Firstly is there anything I can do to defend myself against these 2

Secondly can be done twice for the same offence?
Any advice?

You think that once a ticket has been issued that you have the right to
stay parked there? Think yourself lucky that your car wasn't towed
away.

Be a man and pay up.

Usual Crosland *** due to the large chip on his shoulder.

You have not said - where were you were parked - on the road, council
car-park, private car-park, private ground; what you should do will
depend on the answer to this question.

I think the op has said this. He has just changed the story every time.

I have not changed my story, maybe I didn't explain very well.
I was parked on what I thought was a parking space for club patrons and got
2 tickets whilst I was in the club that I only found out about this evening
