I have recently received 2 parking tickets for the same day when parked in
the same place. One was issued at about 2pm and the other at about 4pm by
different attendants. The car was not moved in between getting these tickets
and as far as I know I was parked in a place that was permitted by customers

Firstly is there anything I can do to defend myself against these 2 tickets
as I believe I was parked legally?
Secondly can be done twice for the same offence?

You think that once a ticket has been issued that you have the right to stay parked there? Think yourself lucky that your car wasn't towed away.
