It's been argued that a normal TV set in a Caravan is a portable. Since
the Caravan has its own internal batteries, and you wouldn't watch the TV
from outside...
So my 3kVA UPS driving my 48" plasma and cinema surround sound could be used on my parents' licence because I'm a student living away from home :)
(no, I'm not a student, and I don't have a 48" plasma either)
