My dictionary says a terrorist employs terror as a use of coercion.
You need a better/proper dictionary.
People experienced terror today at Glasgow airport but no attempt has
been made to coerce us into a a course of action, so I presume the
'attack' has been done as a punishment for our actions.
So, in the absence of any reasonable (and complete) response from
your personally selected "dictionary" you resort to makey-uppey
garbage.
That being
the case, according to my cheap dictionary, these men could not
technically be described as terrorists. The government terrorises us
with hidden speed cameras, does that make them terrorists. Was our
invasion of Iraq a terrorist act, even though certain internal
procedures (but not all), were observed?
Don't you ?
