As an able bodied driver I am fed up with finding empty
disabled parking spaces everywhere I go. Could I take
people to court for discriminating against the able
bodied over denying me a parking space on account of me
being able bodied in favour of those with a disability/
I understand where youre coming from. I got to Baldock
services on the A1M in the pouring rain with wife and
kids in the car, around 11pm. Car park practically
deserted so I parked as close as possible to the foyer
so the wife and kids wouldn't get too wet going inside.
All the spaces close to the foyer were for the
disabled, there were about fifty disabled spaces all
empty.
As I pulled in, a jobsworth with a uniform and a
waterproof coat approached and said I can't park there
wihtout a disabled sticker. I appealed to his common
sense but to no avail. He said if I didn't move the car
to a normal bay he would have my car clamped or towed.
Quite right too.
Well done that man.
Yeah sure, let's inconvenience the many for the benefit of
the few.
Oh boo hoo.
Your life must be so hard.
Hardly, but my point was still valid.
No. Your point was just whining bull***.
Rubbish. I say it's wrong to inconvenience the many for the
benefit of the few, especially in this example.
Bull***
Yeah, you put up a great argument there.
Why bother.
It's pointless to argue with an idiot.
Rubbish, you don't have a point to make.
I made my point.
My point is that you are an idiot, with an over inflated opinion of
your own importance, who habitually spouts bull*** on subjects you
barely understand.
As a result, you are not worthy of any further intellectual
wranglings. Good day to you.
Thanks for proving my point.
If you change your mind, come back and tell me why the majority of
people should be inconvenient for the benefit of the few.
Or is it perhaps because you are indeed fat? In other words a lazy
fucking moron with no self control who needs to park his car closer
to the pies?
Care to show me where I said I used those spaces?
Or did you just assume that?
Idiot.
Just wondered why you are getting so upset. My point is perfectly
valid and was (until you started insulting me) made without any
insulting remarks.
I don't see why there should be so many parking spaces for disabled
drivers. I see hundreds of empty ones everywhere as well. It's a waste
of space and inconvenient for the majority.
You don't think we have a responsibility to help those less fortunate than
ourselves?
If that was the case, then people would be falling over themselves to
help *you*
