Dogs have no place in and office

Perhaps you are mentally ill - if you prefer an animal free environment. No wonder you suffer from stress. A good percentage of city people actually get a lot of pleasure and benefit from interacting with an animal. The important thing is that it should have a nice clean regularly changed bed in the corner where it reposes, that it should be happy and not make a nuisance of itself.

Personally,I don't see that their inabilitity to bond with humans should mean that their pet should be inflicted on the rest of us or that cruelty should be inflicted on them.

Cities aren't the place for dogs. My neighbour's farm dogs were at work today in the fields - clearly enjoying every minute of their lives. I've never seen a city dog look as if it was enjoying life to anything like the same extent. Not for them, four walls and a basket. A real job of work and play and not just, "not make a nuisance of itself".

The average child would be bored stiff being taken to an office. Why inflict that on a child-substitute?
