... because whether he likes the kid or not it's still his
reponsibility or more to the point it's not my responsibility.
Why is the kid his responsibilty?
Watch my lips - because the alternative is that it becomes my
responsibility.
I didn't dip my wick it was his pleasure and he should take
responsibilty for it.
I can see the argument that half the cost of an abortion is his
responsibility or even at a stretch pregnancy expences, after which the
kid could be adopted. What I don't see is why he should pay such a huge
amount for a small unintentional accident which could have been easily
fixed.
In that case could the state please help me out next time I wreck my
car or buy some dodgy shares.
You may not like the fact that some women see babies as a chance to
sponge off the state but that isn't really his fault is it?
It still takes two to Tango.
I think you'll find that the 11k per child per annum per child that I
pay is a bit more than the state pays.
It is, about half that amount reaches the hard end (the classroom) of
state schools, trouble is it takes twice that much in tax to pay for
it.
Remember, the Inland Revenue alone manage to cost, depending on the
tax, anything from 10% to 120% (yes 120% for some taxes) of the tax
being raised.
Then, of course, not to mention the stuff in between DoE, LEAs (etc
etc) all sticking their (increasingly PC) snouts in, plus the money go
round of tax going to Government then back in tax credits, family
allowances etc before even getting to the Local Authorities.
When you go private you short circuit all that crap out and every
penny goes on the teaching - that's the difference.
