LOL!! Maybe you're right! My problem as a very keen DIY man is
that I am a bit of a perfectionist. As my old dad used to say; "If

I do a job I'm meticulous about doing it exactly as it's supposed

it, or how long it takes. Very few professionals are like this -
all they want is to get the job finished, get paid and move on. If
there's a way to cut corners without it being obvious to the
customer - then cut the corner they will!

I agree with you, Kev. There are just too many shoddy workers out
there. Apart from doing it yourself it seems very hard to get a job
done well for an honest price.

customers seem to equate a tradesmens earnings with thier own however
they tend to forget all the overheads
