Although this advice is strictly not conclusive. It says that you CAN stop
a cheque BEFORE the bank decide to pay. On the other hand, you CANNOT ask
the bank to stop if a cheque guarantee card was used. This leaves a strange
hole in the middle; not very well drafted...
I suspect that is deliberate.
They don't like to publicise the fact that it can be done, so they
sidestep the issue by ambiguous wording.
