Since you can no longer pay TV licence in post offices, I returned the
licence form in the tvl SAE together with the cheque £131.50. This
was done on the 19'th December by first class post. The cheque has
still not been drawn from my account. Can I legally continue to watch
TV on the 1'st January 2007?
LOL! Sorry, but that's funny. Ooh, those scary TV licence police.
If I stop watching TV because I consider that it is not safe, will I
then get a refund for this 'unsafe' period, once they get around to
cashing my TV licence cheque?
You seem to think that when someone doesn't receive their money, perhaps
because you chose not send it in good time, it is their fault and their
responsibly. An interesting view point if I may say so.
First class post sent on 19th December is *plenty* of time to arrive
before New Year.
