I can give an example from personal experience which I found amusing. I
was being interviewed for a job a while ago by a partner of a solicitors
firm. One of the questions asked was what advice I would give to someone
who had received notice that a bailiff was coming. I gave an extensive
answer regarding the different types of bailiff, different types of
warrant they might be acting under, different powers of entry and seizure
depending on the previous details and the new powers under the new
systems, both actual under the Domestic Violence, Crime & Victims Act and
proposed under the Enforcement White Paper. He gazed at me before replying
"Blimey, we would have just told them not to let the bailiff in." I found
it funny, but in truth, had someone gone to that solicitors firm for
advice, they could easily have received the wrong advice.

Surely, at least 9 times out of 10, that would actually be the right advice?

It would depend entirely on... well... on all of the things I mentioned above really.
