Their evidence wouldn't be inadmissible, but I can imagine that the
Defence would seek to discredit the witness if a terminal brain tumour
has the effect you describe. The best that you could do is get a
detailed statement from the witness as soon as possible, so that you
can say they set out their evidence in full whilst they still had full
function of the faculties.
