I seem to have heard something of the kind before. "No man hath greater
love than this, that he lay down his life for his friends", and "Dulce
et decorum est pro patria mori". But if a Muslim says it, it's evil.

There is a subtle difference between lying down your life for your friends
and killing thousands of innocent people.

Dresden.
Mai Lai.
Iraq.
Afghanistan.
Lebanon.

Dunno about the others...but why are so you obsessed about Dresden?

It was just another city air raid in a long war of attrition between
the Forces of Good & Evil.

Those sad people of Dresden had supported to the hilt the German army
that had revaged Europe for the previous 4 years. You can see it in
contempoary films. They really loved subjugationg others. In other
words, they truly had it coming to them..

Fortunately for me (and also for you, but you're probably too young to
appreciate it) the Forces of Good prevailed in the end...
