That statement appears to have no relevance to the preceding post.

However, since you raise the point, Ms Dick's assurance on this matter
seems to have been accepted as she is miraculously to be promoted to
DAC. So she did no wrong.

The shooters did no wrong, either. They have been exonerated.

So who exactly was responsible for the summary execution of an
innocent man?

Does no-one ever take responsibility for anything in this police
service of yours?
