My Windows XP must be bona fide, since I bought it legally. I have SP2
on a CD, but I've never seen the point of installing it. I've never
bothered with Windows security updates, I've got a firewall and anti
virus running, and I format and reinstall so often that security
breaches don't bother me.
I'm just wondering if me using my activation crack instead of
activting with Microsoft is legal.
Not legal as you are making unauthorised alterations.
Also wether using the copy of Windows that I bought and own on two of
my computers is legal.
You have bought a licence to use on one machine only. Runnibg a second copy
is a clear breach of copyright and the licence agreement.
