Perhaps he needs to research his market more thoroughly if he is to make a
success of his business. Legal textbooks are generally very expensive and
even with the discounts that he may claim to offer, they are far too
expensive for most people here. I would guess that only about 5 percent of
contributors to this group would be legal professionals.
I had a look at his site. I would have been interested to see what sort of
saving he offers on the prices quoted on (say) Amazon, where they are often
a bit cheaper than the main legal bookshops. However, it seems that before
you can see anything worthwhile you have to register and log in. Sod that.
We haven't even been introduced and he wants my address. I won't be
registering. I think the question "why do so many independent bookshops go
bust" may have more than one answer.
