Why is it a national scandal when foreign prisoners are released at the end
of their sentences, when British prisoners get released at the end of their
sentences every day and no-one seems to think there is anything out of the
ordinary about it? Is it just Daily-Mail fuelled racism to think that there
is something worse about having foreign ex-cons roaming the streets (which
seems to provoke outcry) than having British ex-cons roaming the streets
(which happens all the time and is just accepted as the way things are)? Or
is there something more to it than that?
You could argue that no matter how vile a crime perpetrated by a
British citizen, there will be the dregs of some commitment to one's
own country lurking somewhere in the breast of that perp.
Bollox.
I am not a criminal but I have absolutely no allegiance to this state.
My concern is for my family first and last. If that meant selling this
state out I would do it like a shot. After all the state would hand me
over to a foreign power who made a demand. There are enough examples
of that of late.
You can be glad that it's only 28 days and not the full 90!
