I put the company name on the claim form but it isnt incorporated.

So I believe I need to claim against an individual(s).

I emailled MCOL and asked if I needed to change the claim

reply
'If you wish to change the defendant's name, you must make application
on form n244 to amend the name stating "amend from....to.....and
reserve the claim." You need to provide a new N1 claim form showing
the amendment in red ink.'

I asked again stressing 'need'

reply
'It is your choice as to whether you claim against a company or an
individual - If you are happy with the claim you have made then there
is no need to change anything'

I don't feel like I have the answer.
What will happen If I leave the claim unchanged, will it be invalid?

They're right to say it's your choice. MoneyClaim provide a way to let
you make a claim online, they're not there to provide legal advice
which is what your question technically is.

If you want to be sure, hire a lawyer.

It would be nice if they had the knowledge to answer questions regarding
their service though.

Unless you're talking about something beyond the scope of your original
post I don't see that MoneyClaim lack any knowledge.

Asking who a claim should be against is a complex question and requires
knowledge about the circumstances as well as some legal expertise. The
answer to that question can affect whether you win or lose the case. Why
would MoneyClaim offer advice on such questions for nothing when a lawyer
will make you pay through the nose for the same advice?
