The details are important if you want any opinions as to whether their
offer is likely to protect them. If they have paid 1500 pounds into

it isn't just to make fun of you. It is (probably) because they don't
think you will get a higher award.

Why would they do that? Has the OP posted more details about his dispute
with the defendants somewhere else?
