I think most cats would be extremely embarrassed to find themselves
equipped with a bird flue. Imagine sparrows and budgies escaping up
through the centre of the moggie and flying away to freedom. No, it's

Come on! Don't mock the poor bloke for a simple spelling error. It
is quite obvious he meant bird *flew* - probably over the cuckoo's
nest by the sound of things.
