Only if the trade mark application specifies those characteristics. If it
does not, then the word itself is the trade mark. I have two trade marks
that are simply words, with no font, style or colour specified.

The fact that it is your name provides a defence under the Trademarks Act
1994.

It has been ruled in Court that domain names are on a first come first
served basis. The only way for a multinational to get hold of one that is
legitimately being used by another business of the same name but working in
a different field is to offer lots of money.
