I'm not aware of any restrictions or limitations but expect some
argument (which you'll probably win in the end) if the chosen name is
too way out.

There are no restrictions on frequency of change or number of changes,
as long as it's not done for deceptive or fraudulent purposes. But,
again, expect some argument if you try and do it too often. In any
case, maintaining the paper trail from birth certificate through
multiple changes of name to the current name is likely to be tedious.
