It does show the bias of The Guardian.
Most other media reports were more well balanced and accurate. The BBC
is rather more typical in its reporting than The Guardian:

Unfortunate but true. Men who suffer domestic violence are 'Jessies'
to be laughed at and ridiculed.
By those who have no idea what domestic violence is, I might add.
The Guardian is certainly one.
