Because she has never told any lies.
I thought she claimed rape! The man has *not* been found guilty, and until a case has been proven against him, he is innocent.
So on that basis is she still telling the truth. If a news paper was to claim the man did rape the woman, he could sue for libel and do you think he would win?
No.
He has subsequently claimed in the media very specifically that she consented to a sexual act with him. He should watch out. If she sues him for libel, it is only balance of probabilities.
