" The sale and carrying of alcohol is banned on many train services
throughout the day and queuing systems will be in place at Aberdeen,
Edinburgh, Glasgow Queen Street, Glasgow Central and Mount Florida.
British Transport Police officers will be travelling on various trains
throughout the day.

?Saturday is going to be a busy day for ScotRail,? says Don Roberts,
ScotRail Head of Marketing.

?We are expecting large numbers to travel from across the country to
this important fixture and by asking customers to plan ahead and allow
for the increase in numbers using train services, we hope to provide a
comfortable journey for all.?

Inspector John Harrington from British Transport Police added:
?Additional police patrols will be provided on affected train services
and stations. The consumption or indeed the carrying of alcohol on
those services where restrictions are in place will be rigorously
enforced."
