On the contrary, they made their view perfectly plain by convicting
the bloke.

I have expressed no opinion whatever on his possession of the
material. Since it was not the matter under consideration, I fail to
see why I should express myself.

For your own information, I think his possession of such videos makes
him a sad twat. His use of them in this case makes him a jailbird. So
it goes.

I should put a bullet in my own brain-pan before ever seeking such an
unspeakable apparatus out. I cannot imagine how it could ever fit into
my life.

Well all right. The reason he had the image and was carrying it around
in his pocket. Downloading it from the Internet may well be legit for
all I care. Taking it from the computer and sticking it on your phone
is a sign of something else.

Except it's not normal human behaviour, as the court ruled, and
not-normal behaviour is the very ground the criminal system works.
