Well I've done it. :-(
At the first filling station after departing for a motoring holiday
around Hungary, Austria and Poland. The station had changed the colour
on the pistol grip nozzles on the pumps. :-(
Fortunately we had in the car a schoolfriend of my daughter, and her
father was a diesel mechanic. We ran the car a few hundred yards round
to her place. He insisted the tank was drained, which he did, and
refilled with Diesel, and we continued on without further difficulty.
